Please note that tickets are non-transferable. They cannot be transferred to another date or to a person who is not named on the ticket. If your application for tickets is successful, your tickets will be printed with the name of the person who applied. The name printed on your tickets must match the name on your approved photo ID otherwise you won’t be admitted. If you request two or more tickets because you are taking a guest along, all tickets will be printed with the name of the person who made the ticket application. Our tickets can only be used by the person named on the tickets, accompanied by any guest(s) they wish to bring along. Every additional guest aged 18 and above must also bring a form of photo ID from our approved list. Photo ID must be original and in date (copies and out of date ID won’t be accepted). If you cannot provide this proof you will be refused entry. Please note that all guests must be accompanied by the named ticket holder to ensure entry.

Please take a look at our FAQ to see what type of photo ID is acceptable.

Additional information

  • BBC Radio Theatre, London

Audiences will not be admitted on site until the validating time as stated on tickets, and only via the Portland Place entrance (not via the revolving doors on the Piazza). Prior to validation queuing is outside so please come dressed appropriately for the weather.

Please be aware that folding bikes and folding scooters will not be permitted on site.

Audiences will be required to go through airport style security with a metal detector.

You will be permitted to take an A4 size bag or smaller into the venue. One bag is allowed per person. We class small bags as no larger than A4 size or standard handbags. Backpacks, travel cases, laptop bags and large tote bags are NOT permitted inside the venue. Bags will be scanned on a conveyor belt.

Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make sure we have a full house we send out more tickets than there are places. We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people.

Duplicate applications will be disregarded.

Accessibility

The BBC aims to truly reflect the nations, regions and diverse communities we serve, and to involve all sections of our audience in making shows. We want to encourage people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and disabilities, including autistic spectrum disorders, sensory impairment, and physical and learning disabilities, to apply to participate as members of studio audiences and contributors to programmes, to tour our buildings and to join us at events. We regularly audit BBC buildings to ensure accessibility for all visitors with disabilities and will, where possible, make reasonable adjustments for disabled people wishing to take part in BBC activities.
